Peter Friedmann Continue Advocacy on Behalf of the Shipping Industry

 June 23^rd CBFANC webinar featured Peter Friedmann on his unvarnished views on Trade, Transportation and Politics.   As Executive Director of AgTC, Peter has been uniquely versed in agriculture exports during the US-China trade war.  And being our trade counsel for Pacific Coast brokers and forwarders, Peter is also our advocate on trade policy on imports.  His vantage point gives us insights on China Tariffs, blank sailings, FMC’s recent detention-demurrage rule and disruptions in supply chain having long-term memory reflux.  Peter also focused on the West Coast  ports’ challenges and loss of market share to East Coast ports.  For more in depth report of Peter’s insightful perspective, please read AJOT Stas Margaronis’ article.
