Thanks to all the letters EOSA, our allies, and the public sent in, the comment period for the Howard Terminal Draft EIR has been extended by 15 days, and will now expire on April 27 at 4:00 p.m. While the East Oakland Stadium Alliance appreciates the decision by the Oakland Planning Department to extend the Howard Terminal Draft Environmental Impact Review public comment period, we are disappointed that the City did not meet the community's request for a 45-day extension. Nevertheless, it is still up to each of us to take advantage of this time to review and analyze the Draft EIR, and ensure that every flaw, impact, and issue is brought to the attention of the City and addressed fully.
