Develops general interesting programs including our annual State of the Port dinner, visit by Our Man in D.C., and our Annual Membership Meeting and Christmas Luncheon.

CBFANC offers a few programs each year to facilitate networking opportunities for membership and also to update them on current business information.  Our most notable function each year is the State of the Port Dinner which gives membership the opportunity to hear from the Port Director of CBP.  In the last few years the Director of FDA and the Commandant of the Coast Guard have participated.

“Our Man in D.C.”, Peter Friedmann, provides counsel and guidance to our Missionaries as they meet on Capitol Hill every Spring.  In mid-year, Peter meets with us at a luncheon to provide us his outlook on the  general outlook of legislation before Congress and matters he knows to be of interest to us.

We also hold an Annual Membership Meeting that is combined with a Christmas Luncheon together with the S.F. Air Cargo Association.

The Program Committee is looking for people who would like to join our committee.  We need input and ideas on what programs our members would be interested in and would like to see this year.  Anyone with fresh ideas is very welcome to join.  We invite members wanting to get involved with this or any other committee to contact the committee chairperson at the email address below.  We are always looking for members to get more involved with their association and be a part of the process.
