Committees:

 

Agency
Represents Association interests with all government agencies except U.S. Customs & the FMC

Airport
Provides needed liaison and represents association with air carriers and other air cargo interfaces

Charity
Organizes Annual Charity Events

Customs
Deals with Customs on both local and regional bases to address brokers' problems, and obtains and disseminates Customs information.

Education
Develops and schedules seminars, workshops and training events for membership. Oversees the scholarship program.

Export
Represents membership on export regulatory and operational issues.

Finance
Responsible for budget preparation and financial reports for Board review

Legal
Responsible for overseeing legal issues.

Legislative
Reviews legislative issues and proposals that may affect members' interests, including topics referred by the NCBFAA or PCC; recommends positions and actions as appropriate to the Board and members.

Membership
Facilitates membership development and retention.

Newsletter
Responsible for regular and timely communications to the membership through Info Expeditor.

Ocean
Works with carriers, terminals, truckers and government to explore and resolve problems facing ocean import/ export operations.

Program
Develops general interesting programs including our annual State of the Port dinner, visit by Our Man in D.C., and our Annual Membership Meeting and Christmas Luncheon.

Technology & Website 
Develops guidelines for content and structure of CBFANC website.
